Gary Zajac- Head Instructor

Gary began his study of Aikido in Pittsburgh in 1990. He was a co-founder of Keystone Ki Aikido, with his teacher the late Sensei Richard Miller, in 1992. After Gary began working in Harrisburg in 1995, he traveled weekly to Pittsburgh to continue training and teaching. In 2003, no longer able to routinely travel to Pittsburgh, he founded Capital Ki Aikido in Harrisburg, PA. Gary currently holds the rank of Shodan in Shinshin Toitsu Aikido and Shoden in Shinshin Toitsudo. Gary received his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently Chief of Research and Evaluation at the PA Department of Corrections. He is a leading authority consulting around the country guiding the development of the most effective treatment programs.
