Bengt Lindblad- Head Instructor
Bengt currently holds the ranks of Shodan in Shinshin Toitsu Aikido and
Shoden Shinshin Toitsudo (Ki development). He is an
Associate Ki Lecturer and participated in the
Ki no Kenko pilot program in 2007.
Bengt has studied Aikido since 1978, starting in Sweden with
Aikikai under Toshikazu Ichimura and Sjunne Ferger Sensei,
later with Ki No Kenkyukai under Kenjiro Yoshigasaki (then
European Chief Instructor) and Gunnar Norberg Sensei where
he got his first rank. Then, since moving to the United
States in 1986, under Terry Pierce Sensei where remaining
rank was achieved.
Bengt has taught Ki-Aikido at Temple University in Ambler,
PA, and is currently teaching at the West Chester (PA)
YMCA with Bill Orwat Sensei.
Also, as an NRA certified firearms instructor, he has
applied Ki principles to Basic Pistol, Personal Protection
and ladies' Day programs at the Lower Providence Rod &
Gun Club in Audubon, PA .
Bengt has a Swedish EE degree and has worked with computers
since 1979, the last 19 years with Motorola in Horsham, PA.
